What about a repeatable bridge, which could be anywhere in the city.  Shouldn't be to hard: Less details (max. 300 polys)

Something like this:

or this

or both

Top one is better poly wise...

the railings would take it over the top...

Sorry it's only a picture from the web but you can use it as reference for modelling and I can scale it to the right measurements.

Attachet the long awaited render

Sorry I didn't have enough time to take a look at it. But as soon as I have time I will tell you how it is.

Hey everybody,

I guess that I am done with the Doge's Palace model for now...

I know that SU creates a lot more polys than it shows, so I was very careful in adding polys and so it is not very detailed.  I just did a quick texture on it and it looked pretty good, so I kind of figured that it was time to send it out.

@ Joey: I only did the texture for the front and the side of the palace.  I do not currently have time to do any more work on the model, so feel free to update however you feel necessary (or just don't use it if you don't like it)

P.S. I know that you asked me to attach an image but I am new to this I do not know how...

@ Mslb I have just checked your Enzo and it is too polyheavy we nearly got 20 000 and I don't see any parts which could be modified easily. So I'm very sorry but I can't use this model.

@ billybob You can upload your model in the  files topic (http://80.95.161.114/shipsim/forum/index.php/topic,24156.msg321285.html#msg321285). There you also find the rules for uploading. Mslb told you how to upload the file - it's easy.

If you have any further questions feel free to ask them.

Ah alright.

Didn't see that button...

I will show the model before I upload it.

To be honest, I am not impressed with the quaility of this model, but I do not have time to go back and work on it.  I would have time, however, to go and do simple repeatable objects.

I also made part of a texture map that would work for the front and side.

@ billybob: Your model looks really nice  . I think the number of details is okay and the texture also doesn't look bad. In my previos post you see the link to the files topic please upload it there and I will take a look at it / modify it.  ;)

@ Mslb: Thats wired. I can remove my posts here and in the files topic, but that could be because I started it. But it isn't a big problem if you can't remove it. You could edit it and say that this model won't be used.
