If I am in the U.S. and own SS 2008, is it possible for me to download New Horizons or any of the pushboats or the Agile Solution with the patch update?
NH works with any varsion of the game, even the US!

I know, as I have the US SS08, but UK NH.

I loaded the Elbe and the Furie, fantastic!!!

I hope to see more additions from the shipyard soon.

Dan, those classic ocean liners from the 1940s-1950s, such as the Queen Elizabeth and the United States, would be super additions. I get confused however with the controls on the modern ocean liner in NH, I find the helm and telegraph system much easier than the pod controls. Otherwise those would be super choices.

I'd love to be on the S.S. United States, breaking 38.3 knots!!!!

It would be great to control ocean liners in SS08 and NH.  I would especially like to control Titanic's sister ships.

Why dont you just pretend it say britannic on the side, they're basically the same aren't they? Or you could just do a new skin for titanic

Not quite.  Olympic was refitted with extra lifeboats and bulkheads in the wake of the Titanic disaster.  Britannic was launched in 1914 but was only used as a hospital ship since she was sunk in 1916, and had those large crane-like davits and more bulkheads to prevent what happened to Titanic.

But apart from the two visible things (davits and lifeboats) they are pretty similar in shape and design (from a  game point of view, ignoring the bulkheads)

First time I had to reverse this:

It's not a cruise ship, ocean liner, it's an ocean liner! cruise ship!

;D

I perfer the pre-Titanic disaster Olympic

The differences don't stop there! There is a cowl vent on the port side of the 2nd funnel on Titanic that Olymic didn't have, the Olympic didn't have the closed foreward A deck prominade of Titanic, meaning the windows wouldn't be there if it was Olympic, the B deck windows on Olympic's side were evenly spaced out, unlike Titanic, as Titanic had additional rooms along her side that Olympic didn't, and the differences go on and on, as the 2 ships had a 1,004 ton weight difference!

In fact, from the bridge you could see one, that being where Titanic had a cowl vent, Olympic had an air shaft aft near the breakwater, and no cowl vent on her forecastle.

It was somewhat, but remember, Titanic weighted more than Olympic.  So much for being twins...

The only visible difference as far as I saw was an open promenade deck and more lifeboats.

I did read it. I was just saying that at first glance all I was able to distinguish between the liners in this class was the promenade deck.

Well there is far more, even with Olympic before Titanic sank!

It's a shame only one of them made it to retirement. Such beautiful liners.

I still would like to play as some of those which broke speed records, such as the Mauritania or the United States.

A Lykes Lines stick ship would be nice. Maybe like one of these currently sailing with Sealift Inc. (U.S. Flag)
