My dad has a boat down in Dover (we live up North now, in Lincolnshire) called the Sulac. It's a 30ft Moody Yacht (now outdated by a 31ft version) made in the 70s in Gosport/Plymouth (locations of parts, I've forgotten where she was actually finished, one of those two places). He bought her for the lovely, good value sum of about £3000, and she was well worth it! About 8kn (MAX!). 25hp BETA Marine inboard engine put in a few years ago. Beautiful hull (concrete I think). Two sails. Sleeps 2/3. Gas, cooking, water, toilet..... Usual. She sounds like a Transit van sort of.... LOVE HER! Of course, I'm at the helm most of the time, while Skipper's up for'd doing sommats with Number 1 (who is usually his good friend Ian Keyser from Whitfield if it's not just the two of us).
Picture of what she looks like: (VAGUELY, this is NOT my dad's boat, it's not even a Moody but she looks similar)
