Hi guys,

I was talking to Terry earlier about my dads boat and his boat, and I thought it would be nice to see if other people have their own real boat, or they are in some way connected to boating/ships.

Some general info like below would be nice:

Age/Year Built: 1980
Vessel Type: Colvic Watson
Engine Type: Saab inboard diseal
How many knots produced: 8 knots (depending on tide)

heres my families vessel

Year Built:some time in 2000
Vessel Type:4wd
engine type:side says 3.0l d (3 litre diesel)
how many knots produced, quite a few

it works great on the road

Id love a big yacht when i win the lottery though

We have three boat's.
Boat one

engine: Volvo Penta 130hp
speed: about 14-15knots

Boat two
name: Anfinn(called after me)
It's a old faroese boat which my grandfather and I have renovated, very old
engine: a old sabb 10hp
speed: about 8-10 knots
Don't have a picture

Boat three
VÃkingur 800
name: Lukka
Lenght: 8,28m
Beam: 2,82m
deapht: 1,24m
engine: Volvo Penta 280hp
speed: 28knots
It's our best boat, can carry great weight and very fast.
It's a fishing vessel, but at the moment we use it for diving.

My dad has a boat, but it has been sitting in our garage for 4 years I believe

. All I know is that its name is imperial so I am hoping that one of you guys know all the other details. Every time we take it out on the water, it breaks. Once, we had to get towed from the middle of a bay, to the nearest dock

Its just a ski boat.
It looks just like the picture below just its green.

Would you be able to take a picture of it? maybe then we could get an idea of what sort of vessel she is.

im trying to get a new prop on it maybe a 5 blade speed prop it should make it go 5knots faster

I cant really take a picture of it because it is sitting in the garage and there is stuff all over, so you wont really be able to see most of it. Further more, I do not have a picture of it $:-\$ .

MY BOAT IS BACK IN THE WATER!

A little while ago, I posted a shot, saying "my boat is here", and DJM thought I was joking (at that time). I could see why he thought that, and I was teasing a little. The boat was exactly where I said it was (amongst 1,000 others). Since then, it had to be lifted out and some work done to teh hydraulic ram on the drive leg. But now it's back!

I live about 400 yards (metres) from the beach, here in Selsey, which at the eastern end of the Solent. My boat is about 5 miles away at Chichester Marina. I popped in to check that they had put her back in the water, as I came back from seing a client today.

Yep, the other shot was off Google Earth, I think.

I've lived here for over 20 years. To be honest, I don't notice it any more, which is kind of a shame.

But most evenings I go for a walk around the village and along the sea wall. I hear it then. I can sit on a seat facing the sea and drift off... I find it very soothing.

Ahh, that is the shame for people who do not live near the ocean. We have to go out to wherever and buy these casets of the jungle, or the ocean or theparking lot at work
