There is non, because there isn't enough concrete information for an announcement on the site, I guess.
The things that are known, and some screenshots, are in these threads:

http://www.shipsim.com/ShipSimForum/index.php/topic,4991.0.html
http://www.shipsim.com/ShipSimForum/index.php/topic,5356.0.html

I'm sure there will be something on the website too soon.

Dear Ladies,
dear Gents,

the pics of the new SS2008addon New Horizon looks very goog.
So I am very interested of earning this feature.

But I think it must be allowed to sebd some feedback to the developers.

I will try this in English. But please excuse my bad English.

Can you add a genaral key for resetting the few to ships forward in all views?
Maybe with the option to set the key by the use manually.

It must not be by all user so, but I mean in the perspecive outside view the vertical linrs had to be vertical allways.
It seems that angles of the perspective are too great.

Can you set the option of the outsideview to the waterline surfice. So the ships will be more as in the reality by looking at ten eyeshigh by the user.

Maybe in the future you can implement the option on the outsideview to see the boat underwater for learning more about naval knowledgement.

Best regards

MaddMaxx :)

Some times using the magic word ( Please, Could, Can and Thank you) All steps work much better for you. ;)

But I don't think the it will be for free due to such a large number of new vessels and a new environment too.
Cheers

Does 'New Horizons' include patch v1.1 and mission editor?

I assume the addon will automatically update your shipsim version, probably to the 1.3 or 1.4 version.

The mission editor will, to my mind, still be freely available via download on this site ... like the different updates !

because it is a test server. The developers have to test the ships in multiplayer to see if everyting works good.

I demand that you let me have the patch three weeks ago and that you pay me one million pounds in advance.

I think he was joking...

Most of the speculation here is pointless. As with all software development processes, there will be a set of things that:

Must be dOne.
Should be done
Could be dOne
Would be nice to have done

This is known as "MOSCOW" methodology, and is used for developments which are on a fixed budget or a fixed timescale. The higher things get done first. The rest get done as time and finances allow.

V1.4 (should it happen) will certainly be limited budget. Timescales at this stage are probably not so critical as no formal date has been given. No set of definitive specifications have been given either.

What's that hissing sound. Oh-oh. Bubble going down.  ;D

Greetings Terry,
I think he was joking...

Well,on a computer you can can not see what's a joke or not, when it's written. However if someone wrote in Capital caracters it looks like shouting, and the way of asking is realy demanding.
We as mods have to take care of this, this forum has to stay a nice place to go to.Roebot65 did not realy help on that part.
Kind regards
Marc
