Well, if no-one else wants to give this a try, I can answer the question ;)

Hint:  The official announcement was posted in the relevant board, but someone discovered it a little earlier than that (before he became a Moderator) ;)

We'll all hold our breath to hear that date.. :)

Meanwhile, this skipper was so busy watching the Sjarapova-Henin match, that he didn't notice under which bridge he had just sailed..
So: which bridge is this..?   :)

Is it the John T Knox Freeway which crosses from Richmond to San Quentin?

Well that bridge name is the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge.   But on looking again i see that I was wrong  :D and the bridge is the "San Francisco - Oakland Bay Bridge".   usually know as Bay Bridge!  ;D

Got there in the end!

OK a little brain teaser to start the day:

A Panamax is the maximum size vessel which can use the Panama Canal (about 60,000dwt), a Suezmax is the maximum size vessel which can use the Suez Canal (about 150,000 dwt) but what is a AFRAMAX, and what is their dwt?    ;)

An Aframax ship is an oil tanker with capacity between 80,000 dwt and 120,000 dwt.

The Aframax class tanker is largely used in the basins of the Black Sea, the North Sea, the Caribbean Sea, the China Sea and the Mediterranean.

Non-OPEC exporting countries may require the use of Aframax tankers because the harbors and canals through which these countries export their oil are too small to accommodate supertankers (VLCCs and ULCCs).

The term is based on the Average Freight Rate Assessment (AFRA) tanker rate system.

But uhm... what's that got to do with shipSIM?  There's no AFRAMAX in it AFAIK.  ;D

Yeah, I wasn't really too serious with that remark, it is always nice to learn a few new things.

Well I guess I should do the next one then..  okay, this is probably an easy one, but.. What is the name of the vessel on the picture below?

Correct!

It's from a position where you normally don't come in walkaround mode though... not unless you fall through the deck.  :P

You're up!
