Not much. CraftedMovie's machinimas are pretty good, and Yogscast is great for watching adventure maps. CaptainSparklez is okay too.

Spongeing finally done!

The island will include a small pier and lighthouse.

The propulsion will be in iron tubes, acting sort of like jets. Steering will be controlled by controlling RPM to either engine.

So that idea didn't quite go as planned.

But I did get World Painter, so custom terrain generation will be very easy!

Now I can flatten terrain and create rivers for cities.

Also got MCEdit. A whole week's worth of spongeing done in only ten minutes!

The plan for this super-yacht will be interesting. I lifted the idea from a German magazine. It will be a VLCC converted into a stylish yacht. The massive deck will include a garden, pool, and other necessities.

Added bollards, bow structures, outlines for deck features, and detail on the superstructure.

Take note that anvils make perfect mooring points.

A question about the daylight sensors: can a sensor be placed directly on top of a redstone lamp and still send a signal? And how can that signal be inverted so it's sent at night? Because I might build another city (since I now have world painter and MCedit) and I need a compact automatic streetlamp design. I'm seeing these ones on Reddit that look like huge bulks, and they're pretty ugly.

I have a design of one pre 13w01a/b that uses testificates, that is somewhat compact (three or four blocks tall by three blocks wide) I have a few pictures of the design down below:

Original day/night sensor w/ villagers

Redstone wiring underground (still the same)

Corners

Now, instead of a massive testificate home, I can have one half block!

EDIT: yes Daylight sensors can be placed on redstone lamps.

I hit a creative block in the yacht, so I'm spending some time in my quaint cabin on RS mountain.

This map is my side project. I recreated a plot of [fictional] Wyoming wilderness on world painter featuring a huge canyon, a mountain, a large hill, and swamplands. I'll be adding a town, mine, railroad, resort, and some state parks.

My most successful survival world (that is since 1.8 ):

I found much more then this, I just used them to make tools. For some reason redstone has been the most plentiful resource.

Just built a scale model of the Medical Arts building in Duluth on a plot server:

Because of the size of the plot, I had to crunch it inwards a bit, but it's still pretty accurate.

The back. For some reason, they designed the building in a way so that in order to access the emergency stairwell, you have to go out onto one of those balconies, then back inside again, which is the door (glass block) to the left. Also note how Michigan Street is one story below, to compensate for the terrain.

Plaque at the main entrance, and the front hall. Yes, in real life, the ceiling is gold leaf, and the walls contain so much detail that I couldn't possibly recreate it.

News about update 1.6!

1.6 should be released sometime around May, possibly June at the latest. Features include:

A new launcher.
Seasons and day cycles.
Hay bales will be added.
Carpets will be added.
Leashes will be added, and will allow you to lead mobs around, tie them to fences, and to bind rope from one fence to the next (realistic rigging here I come!).
Rideable horses and donkeys will be added.
Horse armor will be added, along with saddles, realistic controls (horse shows?), ability to be tamed by wheat, and ability to carry chests on saddles (however there is no inventory yet).

Wow, it's been a while since I (or anyone) posted here. Today I have information about 1.6 (the Horse Update).

Mojang also announced early news about 1.7. News is as follows:

1.7 will be an ocean/biome update.
Update might include new temples for new biomes.
New dimensions might be added.
