Here's an impressive birds-eye view..

http://gcaptain.com/ship-photo-birds-eye-view-of-costa-concordia-wreck/

Hundreds of journalists and tv-reporters have arrived on the island, so there will be plenty of coverage.
Probably also some live-broadcasts of the operation (CNN among others)

I really wish everything go well :2thumbs:, but why in the video the ropes in under the sea aren't stretched?

The man in the video says that gravity takes over at that point. A little more ballast water will be poured into the sponsons for a gentle up-righting on the underwater support.

That's good. It's said to be righted at 6:00 (Italian time). I currently don't know how long will get...

I thought he said it would take over 12 hours since the operation has to be carried out delicately.

Well, it's decided.  The salvage gets the 'go ahead' for tomorrow.

Going to take some time before we see some gradual movements. Hope the 20 months at Sea hasn't brought too much damage the ship's structure.

The video in the parbuckling site said (I thought?) that as soon she's in Civitavecchia, she will be sold for scrapping.

It seems there will be a delay of some hours before anything happens, due to the weather..
