I've gotten some comments like... "I'm sruggling to see the difference between the two renders" ...I'm going to start including bullet points of all the changes between renders.

Have a new one. ;)

Good job! I admire all you guys that construct these ships. The only thing that I see that you might change is the pipe at the bow. It would look better and more realistic if the elbows were 2 45 degree instead of 90 degree.
But like I said, GOOD JOB.

I need your guys help with something.

I'm going to start the really detailed modeling seen and I need to know what you want the real name of the ship to be:

AGD Iron Flounder  -Sea Going Dredger

YM Iron Flounder  -Powered Dredger

The name you chose will define what equipment is on board and what kind of missions it will have in the game. ;)

An "Ocean going" dredger does exactly that, It goes in the ocean. ;)

The difference is where will this vessel stay: In a canal or harbor, or at the rotterdam entrance. :-\

Hiya Llamalord,

I'd say the Powered Dredger would be more usefull.

Suppose this vessel could be included in SS08 when it's done, then the most interesting environments to sail in are the ports, really. Then you'd have more things to make missions about, so to speak. More possible interaction with the environment... more than just the open sea maps, I think.

Hmm, yes that does actually sound better, I agree.  ;D

Perhaps you can just leave it in the middle? Can't it have ocean going capabilities AND do the canal/port work too?  (I don't know much about these vessels to be honest.)

Certainly can - either of the two dredgers photgraphed in the first post can do both roles.

What Logo? ???

I have been putting of work on the Iron Flounder lately because of work on my Navigational Aids Add-on Pack but I will be working on the Iron Flounder very soon again after all the conversion kinks are worked out.
