well we got the best protection we could find for it, but it just made it worse than last time. We decided to not protect the hull because of some fiberglass work that is being done now, had divers cleaning it.

Actually, that's and Outdrive, or leg. You do have an inboard motor, but, insted of having prop and shaft, you have an outdrive insted. They are often used to get higher performance, as the traditional Prop and Shaft don't have as much "UMPH". But they do have their own problems too, parts are expensive to replace, you need power to turn in enclosed spaces etc.

Oh Jack did you notice the

Symbol next to it...we had a speedboat with an outboard, 2 454 Chevy big block engines 32 footer that went fast

ah I see it Jack, nice message. actually boats outdrives or sterndrives, not sure if they are called do handle very nicely in port, you just need to know it very well. That's my opinion atleast. I'm gonna upload a video soon, of our boat going full speed ahead.

I had my boat taken out of the water on Tuesday and re-antifouled. It went back in yesterday (Thursday) and

I'm going for a race up the Solent later today (Friday). Leaving Chichester Marina at about 10:30. High tide is around 14:00, so coming back and going through the lock on freeflow at about 16:00, Iexpect.

let me through my 2 cents in about outdrives and outboards and inboards and so on

Theres a difference between an outboard and an outdrive. The outboard is when the whole engine and drive system is 1 complete unit. An outdrive or stern drive is the outer part of the drive system, the engine is in the board, this system is called an I/O or inboard/outboard. Then theres the inboard system with engine inside and just a prop and shaft.

Mine has twin outdrives (or Z-drives, as they are somtimes called, because of their Z-like shape).

That last pic is not the whole living room behind where the pic was taken from there is a wine fridge a fridge and a sink then there is a table that you cant see, well you may be able to see the corner in the middle left side of the pic and as I said before there is a desk and a tv and other stuff

Gas? Those are Diesel Powered

And running full speed it uses 160 Gallons Per Hour

Yea quite a bit she cruises at 25knots I think which is decent for that size of a boat

It takes umm 1300 Gallons Total and its 61,000 lbs (27,699kg) So decent size

Oh By the way it is for sale at $2.2million american But he is workable when it comes to the price (meaning he probably will accept lower) BUT it will be hard for him to sell it because some of the wood is cracked and there are a few other minor issues $:-\$ So that would be great if he is unable to sell it and bring it back up here to ny it is currently in the Marlow Shipyard in Tampa.

It is such a nice boat it was fun to go to the marina on weekends and hang out on it, we would watch tv...have some lunch...sometimes the owner would stop by he is such a nice guy though

I guess we are gonna float our boat tomorrow, all the fiberglass work that had to be done is done and boat painted and looking all nice so it will be exiting seeing how fast it will go now, hopefully the trim system will work now, we had to shortwire it to rise the sterndrive.
