Bug Reports
« on: July 08, 2007, 07:59:30 »

Perhaps we should start a topic for bug reports to help the developers address known problems before future patches. I don't intend for it to become a "wish list" but a place to post problems encountered while playing the new Ship Sim '08 as well as future patches.

I've also encountered the problems noted by others when the game switches environments while in missions.
I've also noticed that the port bridge wing on the VLCC is missing the rudder control.

This is not meant to be a complaint and I hope it will help future development.

At two of the Pride of Rotterdam's stairs, on the stern, you can go down, but not up.

Edit: Menu -> Options -> Tick Run Windowed, Apply settings, nothing happens. Still fullscreen.

Hi Eelkon!  :)

I think this was made on purpose. It takes a lot of time to prepare a ship for the walkthrough-mode. There are lots of places on board the ships that you cannot go. Perhaps these areas will be opened later but I am not sure.

I have always heard where little ships came from but this is the first time I actually see a mothership gives birth to one.

I was able to walk on the forward part of the Vermaas!
But, I had to do that thing where you point the camera upwards and then fly. But, once you get around that mooring bollard, you can walk along that area until you get all the way to the front! And I don't think it was on purpose. I see nothing wrong with the area. Nothing to hide that I can see  ;)  :D
So, I guess the bollard just needs to be moved.

I couldn't get the PoR to moor properly in the mooring terminal mission (Sorry I've forgotten the name lol)

I managed to moor the stern ropes but the bows just wouldn't complete the waypoint  ???

I've had this type of thing happen before. Mooring sometimes seems like it doesn't set off the waypoint.

The bollards are put there on purpose, but there might a small suprise for you in the upcoming patch...  ;)

I have never expirienced this... Try connecting the lines in a differet way - you have to make use of all the bollards.

I had spent a good half and hour trying to get the waypoint but it refused on me lol. I tried to reconnect them, disconnect them again. I even connect all the ropes on the Port side but to no avail. I'm sure this was a bug.

I'm having a strange problem.. Twice so far, when loading the Titanic in the ports of New York, Marseille, and Hamburg, well, parts of the ship look like this...
