In your question to the biggest ship in SS2008, you said the Latitude was the answer. That's incorrect, the Vermaas and Latitude are both EXACTLY the same size  ;)
OK Nathan, thanks for the info, but answered both and i learn something new today to ;)

You are mostly right Mohrchen..I understand she is the worlds largest nuclear powered ice-breaker..
Don't know if she is also the strongest..
Here is a link.. :)

http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.spacewar.com/images/rossiya-russian-icebreaker-bg.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.spacewar.com/reports/Russia_Tests_Nuclear_Icebreaker_On_Open_Sea_999.html&h=160&w=200&sz=8&hl=en&start=12&tbnid=SONLqN2Uqxt0xM:&tbnh=83&tbnw=104&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dvaygach%26gbv%3D2%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG

The largest nuclear icebreaker seems to be perhaps not NS Vaygach, but NS Let Pobedy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NS_50_Years_Since_Victory) ?

On the ship selection screen it says the length of all the ships, and the Vermaas + latitude are the same lenght and width. Maybe they are a little longer but i'm not certain

If anything, the Vermaas is bigger  :D

That's because of the more pointy nose and squared off rear end

name of this cruise ship..?  Mona Lisa

Why is she in the news..?A cruise ship with 984 people on board ran aground early Sunday in the Baltic Sea, off the northwest coast of Latvia, the coast guard said. The Bahamas-registered Mona Lisa had embarked from Kiel, Germany, and was destined for Riga when it ran aground on a sand bank about 10 miles from the Latvian coast in the Irbe Strait between Latvia and the Estonian island of Saaremaa.
