It's too easy if you know the difference between the two ;) - so that's the next question - what is the most obvious difference between Pride of York and Pride of Hull, which would allow positive identification at a distance?

As I'm heading out for the day you can use the 2 hour rule - if any answers are posted I'll reply tonight.

Oh, the Pride of York and Pride of Hull have there differences.

1. Pride of Hull is taller
2. PoH is longer
3. PoH is wider
4. The PoH has more decks then the PoY
5. The PoY has a large front mast just behind the bridge.
6. The PoH can carry trucks on an outside deck at the stern.

Look at the front of the Pride of Hull (Below the Bridge where there are windows)

How can you tell the differance to the Pride of Rotterdam?

Oops - spot the accidental error in my question - I meant to say between Pride of York and Pride of Bruges.

Think the answer your looking for Nathan is a P&O logo on POH

Correct, the Pride of Hull has a P&O logo where the PoR doesn't.

So what was the answer to yours, i couldn't tell the difference  ;D

I'll give you a clue - look at the front of the superstructure - there is a very big difference there

I think i see it.....is it that the Pride of York has a vent like system below her bridge - where the Pride of Bruges has a shelter type thing that i can't quite make out to be something  ;D

Exactly that, POY has louvres on the bridge face where POB has a platform covering the vents
