To saltydog and MVSmith sorry chaps but a nasty thing called work got in the way. The answer is Aeration by the way. Cavitation is a problem for high speed props and is  the creation and destruction of local extreme pressure bubbles (a bit like localised shockwaves in air with an aircraft at critical mach no. Both are destructive to props though.

Possibly what matt5674 is alluding to is the absence of a radar image of Flying Cloud on the chart. However I note that where she lies in Aquatic Park, San Francisco, she not only has a radar image but it shows all her yards and bowsprit too. See attached Pictures.

Hi Angus,
I forgot to mention that the Flying Cloud scenery object is probably a stand-in for the iron-hulled full-rigged ship Balclutha, which is part of the historic maritime park.
The last time I saw her, however, she was tied up on the other side of the Hyde Street pier.
