No. Bovril is the symbol of the anti christ.

As most people know I have a huge respect for DJM and would not normally argue with him, but here in this topic the normal rules and manners do not apply and I warn you DJM that any offence against marmite will be dealt with SEVERELY. OK?  >:(

Cheeky so and so  :P

Actually a hot mug of Bovril at 02.00. on the 12 to 4 watch can definitely NOT be beaten. Especially when llying at anchor off Leningrad (sorry St. Petersburg now) in November.  :P Warms the cockles of your heart!! :-* ;)

Well, it's still not proper marmite, but it's close enough. Welcome to the club. Watch out for these uncouth ruffians with their criticisms, led by a bloke with a picture of Morpheus from Matrix as his avatar.

AB stands for Ablebody Seaman.   A sailor who has more than 1 years seatime, but is not qualified as an officer.  (Also passed a few exaims such as a Safety at sea, lifeboat ticket, Steering Ticket, EDH etc)

Actually, I think you will find it is 76.546% of all statistics are made up on the spur of the moment.

Unless you are in government then its 104% of them.
