What is marmite,maybe i know this,but i dont know realy in english.So if you can explain what this is,i can learn something.

What i understand,is that this is the more solid version of OXO,that you can spread on a sandwich.If i'm correct,because i see there is a beef taste.
Must be very strange,to spread on a sandwich,however,i never tryed ones.

Well, kind of.  I like OXO as a drink, as well as adding it to certain foodstuffs, gravy is also quite nice when it's made with OXO, but Marmite for me is too strong in flavour to truly enjoy.

Think of it as an extremely strong version of OXO that has a bitter taste.  If you do decide to try it, be prepared.......have some sweet dessert or at least something sweet on stand-by

I tried it once when I was much younger, and I never liked it, although some of my family really enjoy it

Thanks Carl for the warnings,and explaination of this product.
I dont recall it's in the shop's(supermarkets) overhere.So never had the(luck ) to try it.

Personally, I'd stick with OXO, not only does it taste great, but it has medicinal properties too

Example - If you have a sore throat, or a tooth infection, try an OXO drink.  The fact that it's loaded with salt, helps to fight infection

Yes,Carl i like OXO to,specialy durring the wintermonths.I drank it when i was on my vessel at 10.00H in the morning,instead of a coffee.It has a great taste,and it keeps you warm for some houres,when you're on deck.
That last can be phychological,but it helped for me.

Well, it seems that i've learned something more,my day has started very good.
(i defined)Marite,is crude oil in a jar,which has the luck to taste like old cowes 
However there's a market for it,some like it,some dont.
I cant vote now,because never tasted it.But if i see the decriptions of some of you,i think my definition,must be very close.

Marmite  is just like tar for spreading on road...infact i am sure that used some to mend my driveway last year

       Will add to this one OXO is very good as DJM says above loaded with salt.

Also say if you are being sick mean (throwing up not being crude) or the morning after DRINK !  not Kids of course,try a oxo drink in a mug help a lot trust me.

Also another one have a mug of OXO with a few slices of bread,Dip bread in mug great YumYum :-).
