I honestly do think that's progressing very well. I know you say that it's to scale, but does APPEAR too long. But that could be an illusion.

I certainly think you have captured the feel (as I said before). And no, at its present standard (as you said yourself) Vstep isn't going to put it in the sim. But if you keep working at it, or when finished start on version 2. I think you could have a very popular boat.

Stu

I havent altered the length at all, Does it still look to long?

No. Now that you've added the detail it looks closer. I'm not an expert on these things. It looks really good. It's one of the better ones to come from sketchup.

James, I think that is one of the better sketchup models I've seen. You've worked methodically through it.

I hope you will continue to completion with as much enthusiasm.

May I suggest though that rather than do the interior, go back over the exterior and try and add some of the smaller details. Normally I wouldn't even bother with a sketchup model, but I think this one is worth it.

Stu

EDIT: From what I remember of Hoverspeed (HS GB???) It was open plan with a viewing area behind the bridge which looked out aft over the main roof. There was a bar area in the middle and the toilets and car deck access were at the back.

Have a look on google. I'm sure you will find drawings and photos.

Basing on the last update, what exteria features would you like to see on the SeaCat ???, the reason why i am asking is because lots of these SeaCats were built with different exteria designs, and also can you provide a real life based pic of the feature thanks :)

I havent been working on the ship for a while because im busy. So not much has changed since last update. ;)
