You don't think I had given up... did you...?  8)

Yes Channel Queen is back!

However I want your opinion

Attached is three different pics of the front

I want to know what colour the vehicle decks look best in
So the choices are Green, Blue, and grey

Green: Classic Car deck choice - every vessel I do has had a green Vehicle Deck
Blue: This is the colour of P&O Vehicle Decks
Grey: This is the colour of the Dover Norfolk Line/DFDS fleet's vehicle decks

In my opinion i would choose between blue and green because grey looks dull and boring..

Green suits the whole ship but because some parts of the ship are red, blue could also be a nice colour

maybe its better to show pictures of the whole ships in those colours as their decks... then the it would be easier to decide..

i get a bit confused with the bow being blue and the rest green

I think any of the colours would look good, but the freight decks should be the same as the open decks, so if you are set on green for the open decks then I would stick with green for the freight decks as well.

Gray is not a bad color I have to say but if there will be gray It will be a good idea to have realistic texture for gray. Im guessing gray is Road. If you choose green you can still get away with it if you don't find the green steel pain to cover the decks with

Isn't this down to the history of WW2 in which decks were painted green/blue/aqua to make them more difficult to see from the air?

And thus it is a tradition that has carried on since.

I still prefer Bilbao Brown (rust)

Older ships did, and some Cruise ships, but I think regulations are kind of against wooden decks :/

Shame cause they look great

They have a metal deck and I think in fact are moving to a kind of rubbery sticky deck

Like the deck on Bilbao.... or was that just 17 years of not being cleaned?

OK I ended up keeping the green because as Clanky said - the passenger and vehicle decks should be the same colour

Sneak peek ;)

*PLEASE ignore the pink, as I have stated before its a undercoat only, as its bright enough not to be missed so I can spot anything that hasn't been textured...
