The only good bit was when jack carked it and thus stopped going "woo wooo woooo wo"
And even that gets ruined by the fact that his playmate lives to spread her lies!

Stu, I think we found some common ground here ;D

Yep!

I'll leave off your ship and concentrate just on the film- the root of all evil. I can not stand that film- 3 flaming hours I sat in a darkened room watching that, waiting for something interesting to happen.

Special effects aren't all that great. Day to Remember and SOS Titanic were better (the other David Warner (that's his name isn't it???) film where he was a reporter- that was lower quality effects but MUCH more believable)

EDIT: Changing name to DAVID Warner... Jack Warner was certainly not in that dull, dull film.

And my main beef with it is that everywhere I go, people ask me if Gloria Stuart was a Titanic survivor, or try to tell me that the film is based on a true story ::)

Furthermore, I have a hypothesis that every sixty seconds of that movie will include at least one factual or historical error.

1. Who is Gloria Stuart?
2. I think you're being TOO generous there.

1) The Spambot who played "Old Rose"
2) I want to give myself a buffer in case a technicality comes in on a shot or two, but you are probably right.

The colo(u)r of the well decks in the Titanic movie (1997) also turned out to be wrong.  ::)

The first shot of the movie after the credits, where the submersibles dive down, in inaccurate because (1) submersibles keep their lights off when diving to conserve power and (2) Submersibles are launched 30 minutes or so apart; having them dive together as shown in the film is flat out dangerous!

Also, the submersibles in the film are FAR more spacious than the real deals!

I think the film was all wrong as it was actually Olympic in a big insurance scam!

To think- some people even believed that story!

And then there's Louise Patten's claim....

The claim was that lady pattens book was actually worth reading and not total and utter inexcusable bull***t. fit only for burning.

Along with James Cameron's movie, and perhaps even the man himself.
