Matthew, I know when I'm online, thanks for pointing that out.
My take on this is that we are working with different publishers/dustributors for different areas of the globe, e.g. Focus Interactive for France, Paradox Interactive for UK/USA/etc., GameWorld for Benelux and they all have their own strategy, packaging differences, etc. This is up to them. As much as we would like to be the omnipotent dictator controlling everything (I kid
), after delivering it to the publishers, we are the developers and things at some stage when the game enters into the sales channel are out of our hand.
So don't be surprised if your edition/box is slightly different from the one Sonarman pictures. Ingame content however is completely the same though. I do know that the Paradox version uses STEAM, while other versions don't, but it makes no difference to the game content. He might have to wait for the 27th before his game will be playable though, as I notice he has a Paradox version.
Same for pricing and delivery. As far as delivery goes, again this is a per territory/per publisher issue and very much the case of how fast express services work. I can assure you that we at VSTEP are all doing our best to get you your copies on time but at some stage it is up to the postal services and games on stock.
Take care,
Frank
