If I can just offer a more objective view on this.  Vstep's previous dates for patch release were always approximate, never definite.

Problems occur in everything in life, game development is no exception :)

It takes a lot of time if you upoad from a normal broadband line to a external server, it should take seconds if you do it over a 1gigabit network  to a local server

How do you figure that?  Some problems can go on for much longer than that.  Vstep have been working tirelessly on the development of Ship Simulator and this patch/add-on.

Criticising them for making sure it's right is surely unjustified, wouldn't you agree?

Alright, the server will only allow one download at the same time. Now I'm first, and you line up behind me. If you don't behave DJM will have to keep us apart or we'll end up in a fight :D

after seeing the new movie with update im happy with V-Step,

imho shipsim will look and simulate better and better,

and i will be even more convinced after the multiplayer add-on makes it a on-line fest for all..

lets have some more patience,

and dont be to harsh on them when time is a factor...
im shure we have enough of it..to sim in future.

I am terrified when the multiplayer comes: picture your self showing off your captain skills doing it all perfect and then out of nowhere you are rammed by hordes of n00bs trying to sink you :o

yeah! awsome that multiplayer! i will try it out emideatly, but i guess one thing: i think you can only see hoovercrafts sailing because every one try's them  ;D

Seriously, in most multiplayer sessions you will receive a warning or simply get banned if you act like a fool and mess things up for others. I guess they can do that here as well.

For anyone who doesn't know, the only online aspect in this add-on/patch release will be the scoring system.  This will allow you to upload your mission times to the forum here, and you will also have a Rank attached to your profile ;)

Also, don't forget guys, any issues with this scoring system must be posted in Technical Support ;)
