If only they made ship sim 2006 one day earlier, then they would have have started 2008 one day earlier, which means they would have started the patch one day earlier and we wouldn't be in this mess! :p :D

Mess?  I'm wondering when the 500 emails a day will stop because of this topic :P

A little over-exaggeration, but it's getting close to 500 ::)

P.S.  I do watch certain topics......just keeping an eye on you guys ;) :P

i think, if i were to ever release a patch to my software, i would promise the patch atleast a week later then what i know i can do, so when people are not expecting there nice patch, they get one surprise! otherwise if you give exact dates, you risk people get restless at their computer pushing the refresh button 100,00 times on the forum.

There has been no mention of any delay, this is likely to cause confusion.  Unless we hear otherwise, the patch/add-on will be released today :)

Take your times based on UTC (Zulu) & not your local time. I would imagine that Vstep will be working to UTC, as this will best suit everybody & not just one single location......so time now is 1235UTC.

In other words, it's only just after lunch time! Be patient. ;)

NO...threre will be no delay...cause the date is fixed this time...

http://www.shipsim.com/ShipSimForum/index.php/topic,2100.0.html

The first date (17th Aug.) was presumably. And the date 31st comes from the forum members itself! Cause at 17th Aug. VSTEP said "maybe 2 weeks longer...now we have 3 weeks after first date...so what do you wan`t?

This is inaccurate, please stop posting comments that will most likely add to the debate about release time, thank you :)

Well, it's 2:40pm in Rotterdam, and I'm not so sure if the Vstep team wants to work late on a friday afternoon. My tip it's just around the corner, or we'll have it monday :P

Well it's 10:45pm (22:45) on the Eastern Coast of Australia, and I'm very tired, and would rather download it overnight rather then in the day. :P

Ok, just to clarify the official standpoint to avoid any confusion for members.

There is no official release time for the patch/add-on.  Friday afternoon is the official statement and unless we are informed otherwise, it will remain that way :)

Regards.

Maybe they need some time for upload the patch on different Mirrors, so that their own server won´t go down...so maybe the file is still online but we don´t know its name?
