the Bremen Fighter (48M) makes Goliath Vig (18M) look small

You aren´t planning on going to Rotterdam sometime over the next 2 days, are you? As the Norwegian Getaway is in port right now at Keppel Verolme. I didn´t have the chance to see her because I had a lack of available time.  :(

Oh well, she will come back in 1,5 months after she leaves this Saturday.  :)

I was waiting on the beach, when suddenly I got called so I took up and a friend of my asked me if I was going with him on his RIB to take some pictures (I didn't have to think twice for that :D) so I sayed ofcourse yes, that is the reason why today the pictures are from the other side.

hope you like them:
sorry that some pictures are not very good but the sea was a bit tough today (waves between 2 and 4Meters)

today I was able to look on the ships

Wirons 1 & 2 and the HMS Tyne

Zr.Ms Friesland

she is quite big when you stand in front of her

weapons in front of the bridge

look from the bridge

Zr.Ms Vlaardingen (it was forbidden to make pictures, but I have made some with my phone (don't know if they are good))

helicopter hangar on the Zr.Ms Friesland

helicopter deck

RIB in dock at the Zr.Ms Friesland

engines from the RIB

bridge from the Zr.Ms Hydra

Zr.Ms vlaardingen

onboard HMS Tyne

weapon HMS Tyne

bridge HMS Tyne

view from the tug Zr.Ms Linge on the dock from the Zr.Ms Friesland

the recompression chamber onboard the Zr.Ms Hydra, divers will go in this chamber/tank when they did not made a safety stop (some times divers from the navy do this due to the weather), when the are back on the survace they have to go in this chamber otherwise it they could get very sick (and sometimes death follows)

tomorrow probably more pictures from the depart of ships

The ramp on which the Freedom 90 lands sure looks a lot more luxurious than the one I saw in Calais.  :P

Thanks!

It was also kind of hectic at the stern. Sounded like someone wasn't doing his job properly.  :P

The first thing that I saw this morning when I left the metro station and looked to the skyline was a huge ship and my first reaction was, Wow that ship is really big in real-life  :o :o, when she left I felt in love, what a very beautiful vessel, the most prettiest ship I have ever seen.

NCL did a great job and MeyerWerft at Papenburg germany

look the difference between the Norwegian Getaway and the SS Rotterdam on the right

really love the paintings
