Today I visited the Willem van der Zwan, it is huge from the outside, but from the insife it is like a labyrinth.

First the Zeeland had to make space for the Afrika, so she will be able to unload her fish tomorrow.

I had a request from a friend his uncle this afternoon (he works on the Willem van der Zwan and gave me the tour), he has had a request from the office if the photos from the visit could be taken offline, so I had to follow this request and I have deleted the photos from the internet :'(

Wow - I am impressed they actually rebuilt her from hull up! Most in that sort of condition would surely be an economic write-off!

yes you are not the only one who was thinking that about the economical situation, but a few years ago the fishing industry was still very good.

sadly the SCH-302 Willem van der Zwan will leave the harbor tomorrow, for the last time probably: the owner don't want to have her back in Scheveningen due to the depth (at her arrival they only had 0,50m UKC left) :(
