Hopefully going to get a days work out of everyone today.  Joined last friday, because the ship is laid up they have been working half days at the weekends, then Tuesday was xmas eve so half day, Wednesday off, Thursday off (although the guys worked half day anyway as they said they would have been bored otherwise!), working today and then half day tomorrow and Sunday again, working Monday, half day Tuesday for New Year's Eve and Wednesday off!

All of this had been agreed before I joined so I'm not going to change it, but I'm stuffed if I would have allowed it if I had been here.

Was up all night Friday night bunkering, same again Saturday night, got to bad at 0900 yesterday morning, went ashore for a few hours in the afternoon evening, got back at 2200, slept like a corpse last night.

Little bit of mainenance on the anchor winches today, all 9 of them.
