The engineers take fuel figures to calculate the fuel consumption in the last 24 hours and how much fuel is remaining on board

What would happen if the fuel remaining figure is 0? ::) Lots of shouting and rude words? ;)

That's been around for years  :sleepy:

estimating fuel consumption on my boat is fairly easy with only a 60 Liter tank.

Explains a lot - I just lift the tank and if it's heavy it's full and if it's light as air it's empty

My boat uses 2/l hour on full speed, and 0,3l on idle  ;D

Running at economical speed (10knots) we are burning just less than 15,000 litres per day.

Ballast, we are on GMT+6 and somewhere south of the equator, afriad that's about as far as my navigational skills will go!

Yeah, I figured you'd be at GMT +6. Anyway smooth seas eh! Soon I'll be leaving to a 140t BP AHT as chief mate

Our tank is 2 x 25 US liter tanks with one 5 UK liter tank
The 2 are the fuel, while the 1 tank is back up - making it very hard to cauculate how much fuel we use (oh and we got another 5 hp engine used in harbour as the other one is too deep sometimes and it's used as backup)
This makes it very very hard to exactly know how much fuel we use so that's why I just check by lifting it

What's the difference between a US and a UK liter?

I'm currently experimenting with Unity 3D, a game engine I want to use for a future game project.
A few hours of messing around a little with creating a landscape already shows a bit of what this engine is capable of.

Imagine an experienced user working with this, creating a fully detailed landscape with finetuned graphics.

Reminds me of an indie horror game, but I can´t remember what it was called... Someone came on an island such as this one, but when the night falls, you are being hunted!  :o

That would remind me of Minecraft.

Just kidding, here's something that matches the description, you mean this game?

It's also programmed on Unity BTW.

Lol, after playing the FEAR series a few times over, there are barely any games left that really scare me.  :'(

Oh well, movies then! I would highly recommend The Spambot in Black (with Daniel Radcliff).

Have you tried playing "Amnesia - The dark descent"?
Still my favourite. The game removes the security of carrying a boomstick to eliminate the threat. The only thing you can do is run and hide.

How could I forget Amnesia! Really makes you spike up your adrenaline sometimes, doesn´t it?  :o
Hm, tomorrow? All lights out, headset on with volume up... Some energy drink? Perfect.

Imagine if it were real. The whole world would be playing ShipSim, and VSTEP would be bankrupt.

Also, it seems you get the honor of opening the 1000st Cookie Box page.  ;)
