That sucks, so we don't know if it will work? I'll download the demo in a few minutes and see if it works maybe. Thanks for the reply!

No it Does Not.

I gave it another try today. It starts but you cannot change any settings or play any missions or free roam. Not worth the time to try it. It only likes Windows.

Here is some info. It's listed as bronze in the apps. Basically it's saying if it were a Phone it would be nothing more than a paper weight.

Sorry to bump this moderately old thread, but BSM, when you say "you cannot change any settings or play any missions or free roam" you do realize that you must be using the demo? In which case you can not change it anyway. By the way, with some research, I have contacted people who have gotten ShipSim successfully working on Linux with just Wine which settles the question.

You can in fact run ShipSim on Linux.

This is a five year old topic. You would be better off starting a new topic about this subject instead of reviving two old ones. ;) Most posters here haven't been online for a while so there is no use in waiting for their response.
Besides, information about the subject may have been changed among the years, so the information given in this topic may be outdated and can cause confusion to people who seek help about the same subject.

-edit-
The user I was talking to removed his message. So I'm not talking to air in case anyone wonders.
