ShipSim on Wine.

Hey guys, does anyone know if ShipSim will run on a computer running Linux OS using the Wine Emulator? Please let me know. Thanks,

I got my SS istalled sucessfully using wine! 
But I dosent have a monitor that works good with that comp som I cant try to play it -.-

I gave it another try today. It starts but you cannot change any settings or play any missions or free roam. Not worth the time to try it. It only likes Windows.


Here is some info. It's listed as bronze in the apps. Basically it's saying if it were a Phone it would be nothing more than a paper weight.

Sorry to bump this moderately old thread, but BSM, when you say "you cannot change any settings or play any missions or free roam" you do realize that you must be using the demo? In which case you can not change it anyway. By the way, with some research, I have contacted people who have gotten ShipSim successfully working on Linux with just Wine which settles the question.

You can in fact run ShipSim on Linux.
