I just wanted to say that i would like to see greek ports in this game . As you know greek ports especialy island ports are very dangerous and hard to dock. So it would be nice to have this ports as hard missions. Also it must be like flight simulator that you can go everywhere in the world. I know that my whises are very hard to become true but that would make the game simply the best!

Best regards
Ermis!

I would love an ROV simulator built into a ship. Also a Geostationary option while manually craning a SAT bell
into a moon pool on a modified fairmount Sherpa. I would also like random weather changes when changing locations on the globe, We all know how the weather is. More cranes wouldn't hurt. I would to be able to jump into any crane I see and start moving boxes while free roam.

I'm quite happy with most things in ship simulator. The biggest complaint I have is the fact that you can't feather the direction of the RAD joysticks with the keyboard directional pad. I'd like to suggest better horn recordings for the new ships. The horns in the patch update on the website works great though, so I'm not complaining. Regardless, I still find myself playing this game for hours.

Country:
Norway - living in Germany atm.

City & State/Province:
Vestfold, Norway (Bremen, Germany)

Age:
23

Sex:
Male

Top 3 Other Games You Currently Play:
1.
Source-based games (HL2, ep1/2/lost coast/CSS/Gerrys mod/Portal)
2. Pirates of the Burning Sea
3. Landwirtschaft Simulator 2009

Other Simulators You Enjoy (If not in the 3 above):
1.
MS Flight Simulator X (w/Acceleration)
2. X-Plane 9
3. Sims 2 (3 preordered..)

Closest major port:
Port of Bremen right now, in Norway I'm within an hour of Oslo/Drammen/Sandefjord/Larvik ports.

Desired port locations (limit to 3 choices):
1.
Bremerhafen, including channels going into Port of Bremen

Desired vessels/vessel types to be seen in upcoming Ship Simulator versions (limit to 3 choices):
1.
Coast Guard vessels and other large rescue/assistance ships
2. Special Purpose vessels, like drilling, cable laying, factory/processing and so on.

Where did you purchase your copy of Ship Simulator:
Amazon.de

On a scale from 1-5, how would you rate Ship Simulator currently:
4.5 - there's always room for improvement, but overall I think it is a great game/sim with endless potential. I think I said the same about MSFS4 back in the days..

Which is more appealing to you in Ship Simulator:
Definitively the technical parts, tugging, offshore work, taxi jobs in demanding situations

Any additional comments or suggestions welcome here:
Would love to see the ability to launch smaller crafts off of mother vessels like MOB's, tenders, life boats and special purpose stuff. In general seeing more interaction with the ships like for example cranes, search lights and vessel-specific things - opening car doors on ferries, animated equipment on a fishing boat, working cable laying equipment, functioning drilling rig, fire pumps...

I'm coming from the now well polished Flight Sim side of the simulation sphere where pretty much every little nook and cranny of an airplane is highly detailed, animated and interactive. Granted, this has been a far larger commercial venture going on for far longer than Ship Simulator, so I am not expecting the same detail level and interaction level anytime soon. So far I think there has been a great overall improvement from SS06 to SS08, and SS10 is shaping up nicely.

Desired vessels/vessel types to be seen in upcoming Ship Simulator versions (limit to 3 choices):
1. SS doesn´t have any ordinary cargo ship like this (http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2582/3720307697_e94bbc762d_o.jpg).
2. Tallink RO-RO ship (eg. Baltic Brincess (http://images.vesseltracker.com/images/vessels/hires/Baltic-Princess-274954.jpg)) Tallink is an Estonian company. Our country´s proud.
3. Pilot vessel like this (http://images.vesseltracker.com/images/vessels/hires/Pilot-120-Se-306398.jpg). It has built in Estonian company Baltic Workboats. This Company has built many workboats for the different countries.

Where did you purchase your copy of Ship Simulator (Name of Business - City, State/Province - Country): I bought it from SS webpage.

On a scale from 1-5, how would you rate Ship Simulator currently:
5

Which is more appealing to you in Ship Simulator, the technical simulator aspects (such as docking, tugging, crane operations, etc.) or the fast, speedy arcade style of playing (such as races, ramping, and such):

Definitely the technical simulator aspects.

Any additional comments or suggestions welcome here:

SS doesn´t need more speedoats, jets, and other small boats and old ships. These are pointless.
SS needs more MODERN BIG vessels. Cargo ships, passenger ships, workboats. These are real ships.

Any additional comments or suggestions welcome here:

Maybe the lack of a more open "system" to support community mods and some devices, like a more detailed radar, a virtual communication center to talk to other people when playing online. The support for multiple screens would be good, because in one big screen we can have see all the playing scenario, and in another screen (maybe a old one) the radar or even the AIS separated too. This could help raise the reality to common players like me. :D

(Sorry if I made any mistake)
