Can be technical or speed. Sometime you need speed with only average technic, ex: for fast ferry, and sometime you need good technic with only average/slow speed , ex: for large and heavy container vessel.

Sorry, I can't answer all questions.

Any additional comments or suggestions welcome here:i find that compared to other sims i've played such as trains where you must learn to drive just that, a train, controlling every aspect of them.as for ships in ship 2006/8, i find it a frustrating that some vessels such as the racing boats in fact most vessels in ship sim 2006/8 i find have a slower turn rate at speed than at speed for e.g.in some missions start in a confined space where a taxi manouvres out an exit around some smaller craft(frustrating),the vessels controls are limited.compared to vessels in real life, a have to say are far out weighed than those in ship sim 2006/8.craft such as the port of rotterdam vessel, lights such as the beacons.

Any additional comments or suggestions welcome here:
More detailed bridges, need to get the true feeling instead of a large empty room with some stearing consoles miles Apart.

Larger windows on bridges, personally i feel PoR bridge windows are to small (i know, i know... Their like that in real life).

Mooring point's in free roaming, so i can dock and go make my self some tea :-D

For me it's really important to get the real feeling (kind of nerdish) but i just think that details are the essense of a good game, like flight simulator X, wich has great cocpit details.

A great complete route to add would be Frederikshavn - Gothenburg 3 h 15 mins travel time by conventional ferry, ideal for the true enthusiast.

Which is more appealing to you in Ship Simulator, the technical simulator aspects (such as docking, tugging, crane operations, etc.) or the fast, speedy arcade style of playing (such as races, ramping, and such): The ranking of how much you've played, gives you a feeling of achievement and recently I've fell in love with that kind of aspect in a game, makes it addictive as I wish to max out all the ranks there is.
