Does anyone know what instruments is coming in ss2010?

* Is there coming gps, radar etc. (Navigation instruments)?
* Will functions like, using lifeboats, open visiors and ramps on car/passenger ferrys?
* Will there be carferrys like Vikuing Line, Tallink etc. ?

The Second two sound like it will have to be a no, but maybe you could be a little bit more spacific about your first item because the last I knew ship Simulator does have basic GPS and Radar.

It could do with a radar that shows more information on ships such as their speed and type of vessel.

Actually, I do know that there will not be a Ship Simulator 2010.

Vstep announced that some while ago.

But don't worry.

The next version will be called Ship Simulator Extremes, as Vstep announced. It just will not be called 2010.

Am I the only person that noticd the announcement? Seems like it...

Yep, the software developers seem to often loose the desire to age their products. Micorsoft have returned to their original naming system for Windows, which goes back to the late 1980s.

It was subsequently announced that henceforth it would be Ship Simulator Extremes.

Hi there, sorry i havent replyed i have been on a trip.

I mean a more detailed radar and gps, u know like on big ferrys.

Hiya!

Doubt that sort of advanced radar will be in SS Extremes, the radar in Pro is very detailed (like that image), VSTEP needs to allow a difference between the Proffessional version that costs â‚¬4000 and the game version that costs about Â£20. Therefore I don't see such a advanced radar in SS Extremes, but I would like a better radar anyway in the game version.

I say Ship Simulator 2010 or Ship Simulator 2010 Extremes SS10 or SS10E. But I think the walkthrough on SS10E has the SS06 walkthrough(walking), SS08's walking is like a ghost who don't go through walls. And maybe some built in lights for all the ships when it is dark.

Pro is still in development.. when I last saw anyway...
The release date on the Pro website changes every month..
Also take a look on the pro website to see what's in it, but take note that not all the things in pro will be in SS Extremes.

Until new information is released by VSTEP, all the things we know is from the teaser and the images released. Anything else is just speculation and hopes and suggestions.

Some people who post things like "I think this is going to be in SS Extremes" are making speculation - which some people think is correct when it may not be.
What I'm trying to say is, only beleive the news announcements by VSTEP, not what people think... I've noticed some people making that mistake.

The Pro Version 2 is not yet released. It is imminent.

However, bear in mind that it costs 4,000 Euro. Therefore a gaming version that costs around 1% of that is unlikely to have the same features.

Okay, let me put it in a different perspective then.

1. Ballasts pictures from a topic a while ago clearly shows Pro in a nautical college..
2. On the Pro website the release date is changed every month.. Meaning Pro isn't released.

Those are the promises that VSTEP made, most of which we've seen in screenshots and teaser..

Green = Confirmed in image/teaser
Red = Not seen at all at present.
