Nope just the rammers...

If I see a rammer I will...

Do WHAT MUST BE DONE. I WILL NOT HESITATE... I WILL SHOW NO MERCY...

Ugh!  Then in future I'll avoid any meeting with you on MP, as I always like to fly on Agile Solution & JJ.  ::)

No, I only fly with my ship above their heads...

Or when some rammer is rushing to me to implement his evil plan - I fly away with my ship.  ;D

No, I only fly with my ship above their heads...

Or when some rammer is rushing to me to implement his evil plan - I just "fly away" with my ship.  ;D

Well you are perfectly safe...

We also have a cooperation with Greenpeace and a Greenpeace campaign will be one of the available storyline campaigns in the game. In this campaign players will play the part of a Greenpeace captain taking on ecological missions like saving whales. All missions are based on existing Greenpeace missions and will feature exclusive Greenpeace vessels.
Interesting!  :)

Chaps, I'm on international wireless roaming at the moment so don't intend to spend my millions downloading interviews...

Can anyone summarise (without large graphics!) what the interview said? Did it mention Dover-Calais in the same environment or will I have to get the thumb screws out again.

PS... As I'm not in the UK at the moment... Perhaps I'm in the Netherlands, camped across the street from Vstep waiting to mount my campaign on their doorstep... Or maybe I'm not.

Nothing about Dover or Calais, but "over 30 vessels"...

Over 30? In SSE???

Thanks Nathan... I didn't realise there were THAT many ship between Dover-Calais in one environment. ;)

Seriously, it didn't give any more detail of what ships/where???

At £big m/bit of data to download, I could be broke just paying for the opening animations!

"All vessels featured in the game – over 30 by now – are built from existing blueprints and real designs. Same goes for the Greenpeace vessels. We even feature the new Greenpeace flagship ‘Rainbow Warrior 3’ in the game, which is currently being built at a shipyard and will only be completed in 2011."

Not sure if that "over 30 by now" is referring to SS08 or SSE..

But no, the only new vessel it gave away details of was the Rainbow Warrior.

Yeah, same old stuff...  :P

It looks like either they are planning for us a big surprise in SSE where everyone's wishes will be satisfied or a big disappointment if there won't be Dover-Calais in one environment (together with it's ferries), floating cranes & proper offshore fleet!

Its just one of them things though, gotta wait for more info or just wait to see what the game will be like, there's still atleast 3-5 months till the game is probably complete

Must be refering to SSE, 'cause the actual shipcount for SS08 is 27

VSTEP just released this video about an hour ago, and it gives you at least somewhat of an idea of how Dover appears in SSP 2.0.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XC8k8f6qoU (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XC8k8f6qoU)

I noticed that the waves in the harbor are lower than outside!

Also, I never heard Pjotr's voice before ;D

Any idea on what the sound from 5:11 to 5:17 is?

yes, but sadly the map indicates no sign of Calais... the map seems to end just outside the harbour...  :'(
