But it's the disney theme song!  Well.. part of it..   ;D

That would be silly to have on those ships.  :)

He meant that he has removed the posts he made about that Disney ship horn.

And in the process, made us look stupid for making remarks about non exsisting posts..  :)

Yep.

A lot of people have had their PCs corrected in the Technical Support Forums under my gentle care. One or two have had a pick-axe through them as well.

How about a jack hammer, I got one. :D

Or an excavator? XD

Anyway back to horns. Fred and Terry are making new horns so I guess they will be better then the existing horns.

Much, much better, I think. (But then I would, wouldn't I?).

All completed now and with Vstep. I'm not sure about the actual release date, but I believe it is imminent. At the same time, there will be 12 hours of new Solent and Padstow radio sounds.

TJK YOU ARE A GENIUS! :D, i looked through some of those files and VSTEP could use the m for better engine sounds on some boats and also add a new feature that will make your ship simulating more realistic, False starts of the boat/vessel. OF course then evrtime you would start a game the engines would be off and you would have to turn them on.It may get a little anoing but welcome to the real world, of course this would not happen often, just sometime ;).Also there aare tons, they can upgrade, just looks through that list.

I just wish that Vstep would hurry up and release the horn sounds that Fred and I created.

There are 38 new sounds. I think they are excellent (well, I would do, wouldn't I?). They aren't the tinny sounds that a lot of the links point to. These are real, full quality stereophonic sounds. When Fred played one for the first time,he had the volume at the same level as he had beenusing for the current set of sounds. He said that the new ones knocked him off his chair!

It's been quite a long time since they were ready, but I still don't know when they plan to release them  ???

I'd release them through my own site, but I'm afraid that if several hundred people tried to download at the same time, it might affect my business, which requires the site (the set is around 60 Mb).

Same with the 12 hours of new radio sounds that I created.

They will be released eventually, I know. Vstep accepted them a couple of months ago and announced the forthcoming release in the last newsletter. But since then, there has been silence.

It just gets frustrating, as I believe that they are a set of excellent sounds.
