but aint the pushboat the first usermade model?

And the Elbe & Furie were created by SimonDR, a member now unactive  :(

Oh, and he made the Clyde Puffer too  ;)

EDIT: Just looked at some really old posts and found these topics:

I'm not sure about the pushboat, i think Goax made it, but it does look very different yes  :-\

I'm not sure about why the moderator made the topic, but Simon has never been that active on this forum. You can download those boats at www.simondr.co.uk/3dobjects/vs/boats/boats.html for Virtual Sailor (!!Including the Clyde Puffer!!)

Vstep didn't make Titanic, either. Jason De Donno makes it, and posts about it on sites like those for the Titanic Research & Modeling Association (TRMA) and Encyclopedia Titanica (sometimes referenced as ET)

I don't think he has an account here (it would be awesome if he did!), but I know he tests his creation pre-release, so I'd imagine he would play the game, watching his hard work in action among other things.

Great job mr robville, only 1 suggestion. I think you should have at least 2 rooms. Because during docking, people might want a view of starboard AND port. Just an idea. Its up to you.

yeah, you got a point with that.
i will see how many vertices this entire model will use, if it has a too high polycount i can't add an second room.

I don't think so. I would check the System Requirements.

i will figure something with the name  ;)
about the funnel
i had the same thought as Cushioncraft  :D
maybe i'll make it like the ocean star (yes that shape is diffrent then this one)
or just a brand new funnel like normal ocean liners.

i don't know if that fits this ship, but could be a plausible idea, the reason i want a birdshape funnel is because no smoke interrupts the sky view from the garden. so i will try to keep that  ;)
