I have to say, this design is very much in contrast to those currently in production and has influences from both classical Liner design as well as hints of the more modern cruiseship. This design appears, yes, fairly seaworthy. Your renderings thus far are very nice. I would love to see this in action.

What you are doing here is one of the reasons I had started the NVDG. I wanted to give aspiring modelers and naval enthuiasts the chance to design high quality vessels to be added into the game. This ship accomplishes that goal and I hope to see it go further.

As with her design stats - I would be cautious with making it too large. We could all draw lessons from problems already being received by Oasis of the Seas. Many in the community fear she is pushing the limits and is going to spell trouble, despite her, in my opinion, nice design and many technological advancements.

Well done! :2thumbs:

really thanks AriesDW!

as i mentioned the project was on hold, but not for any longer.
i wasn't able to do much on the SS and VS projects because of my movement for my study in Rotterdam,
and it took a lot of time to get everything straight again as my old routine. i hope you all can understand that.
meanwhile since a couple weeks i have everything back on track. and now i read this, i really think it's time finishing this model  ;D

don't worry oceandream, new screenshots soon!

Will we see this ship at least in SS Passives or SS20 or SS56 by any chance?

Or it'll be our grand-grand-grandsons that will sail it?

Cool design, I prefer traditional streamlined Ocean Liners, which therefore makes me extremely picky with modern ones, but well done, nice job, and I wouldn't mind having this one. Different paint scheme right?

i like older ocean liners better aswell, they are incredible to look at.
but modern ocean liners have a bigger size.
meanwhile im not posting any updates yet, which doesn't mean i am not working on it, but i want to make a update with a lot of new stuff to show.

WOW! I NOTICED THE TOPIC JUST NOW!!

I'M IMPRESED! I'M A VERY, VERY HUGE CRUISE SHIP, OCEAN LINER AND YACHT FAN!

THESE SHIP IS JUST AMAZING!! I CAN'T STOP LOOKING AT THE PICTURES AND PLANS!

I CAN'T WAIT THE MOMENT WHEN IT WILL BE OWER, AND I REALY HOPE YOU WILL GIVE IT TO VSTEP, AND I HOPE THEY ARE SMART ENOUGH TO INCLUDE THAT VESSEL IN THE GAME!!

- A vessel would bi the most amazing in the Ship Simulator!
- Ship Simulator definitly need more cruise ships & ocean liners
- MV Oceana is wonderful, amazing, and also very luxury ship.
- Ocean liner like that one is NEEDED INMIDIATLY!!
- A vessel like that would made a hughe media attention and that would bring more players and buyers to VSTEP
- VSTEP can be the first game developer who has the LARGEST cruise ship in virtual world, and that would definitly be a hughe sensation!
- MV Oceana IS THE VESSEL WHAT THE GAME NEEDS!

I WANT THAT SHIP IN SHIP SIMULATOR!! I'L BUY 500 COPYES OF THE GAME JUST IF THAT VESSEL IS IN IT!! OH OD, I WANT THAT VESSEL, IT WOULD BE THE GREATEST VESSEL OF SHIP SIMULATOR!!!!!!!!

IF I CAN HELP YOU IN ANYWAY TO GET THAT SHIP IN SHIP SIMULATOR LET ME KNOW, BECAUSE I'L DO EVERYTHING JUST TO SEE THAT VESSEL IN THE GAME!!

WELL DONE FOR YOUR MODEL! YOU ARE TALENTED, I HOPE YOU WILL BE A SHIP DESIGNER, AND THAT YOUR SHIP WILL SAIL, IF THAT WILL BE THE TRUE, THEN SURE I'M GOING TO RAISE SOME MONEY TO TAKE A CRUISE ON YOUR SHIP!  :2thumbs:

WELL DONE!

Kind regards!

thanks a LOT everyone! im glad you all like this ship.  ;D
last weeks i did a lot of work (again) on the titanic, since im now coöperating with Hudizzle. were making fast progress now and are ahead of schedule.
as a small peak of what we are making now:

but that also means that there's not much to show from the Oceana but some fixes i made in the model and corrections.
anyway, expect the Oceana at this detail.

i will be 3 weeks on vacation from the next friday. when i get back i might be working on this ship again. as a matter of fact the only things that need to be made are:
Lifeboats.
some Corridors.
Engine room final details (yes there is more done then i have shown)
deck machinery.

the cabin is also in re-production, since im now on my laptop and not my desktop computer i can't show any screens yet, maybe tonight, or tomorow i can show them here. but that depends if i get to my desktop pc.

yes you are able to walk inside the ship, you can walk in these interiors:

bridge
corridors
suite
engine room
boatdeck Atrium level.

Modification for the game mafia, you can not sail the ship, instead you can walk around in a fully populated and 99% accurate titanic, during the voyage as for the sinking.

i am sorry that i can't get to my main pc, i will be on vacation for 3 weeks now, when i get back i can get back on my main pc, and post some screenshots of the WIP i have made meanwhile.
