Earlier I had my SSE running just fine, but after a recent Windows crash & reinstall, now I'm having this Custom Command.dll issue too. I read these threads of how to fix it, but it didn't help. I have all of the necessary Visual C++ components installed (see pic), Windows 10, x64.

Hi Willis,
I was busy whole day & when I finally was able to open the game (at night!) the server was offline. Let me know at which times the server is online or was it a single try at it while the SSE server is the usual online one? |

Use this to get multiplayer back. You won’t have the list but use manual connect when a server is online.

I just remembered how good, sophisticated, convenient & charming Ship Simulator 2008 was!
Much better than Ship Simulator Extremes in so many ways, except maybe for the water visuals. Anyone else plays it still? User-hosted multiplayer? I see on forum stats the community started to lose interest in this place around 2013 & since 2015 the process of decline went stable. As if SSE didn't deliver what the community expected, much of stuff from SS08 got worse in SSE, disadvantages in SS08 stayed solid in SSE too. So the interest faded, I guess? I know this place used to be overcrowded & so alive back in 2008-2010. |
