On expeditions with Norwegians and Dutch, I never learned one that long. Perhaps Germans can rise to the challenge.
The longest expletive that I can remember came from Hermannâ€”an FE from Voith-Schneiderâ€”as he was removing the Schubkurbelkinematik from our after propeller.

Actually, Schubkurbel looks like a Piston..

Actually, â€œCrankâ€ in this context, â€œkurbelâ€ being the operative part.
Crank kinematics is the system of linkage that controls the cyclic pitch angles of the blades.

Here is what it looks like after removal. A size 36 VSP has a blade circle diameter of 3.6 meters; to give you an idea of the sizeâ€”and why it takes six people to handle it in one piece.
