Post them here :D! A nice collection of Titanic in Ship Simulator 2008 is always nice :D. Wonder if she looks better than in Ship Simulator 2006?

NOOOO way! todays cruise ship are like 15 stories high and 1300 ft. long :o :o but the titanic is only 9 stories high and 800 something ft. long :( :( but its big for its time tho ;D

Well, when you look at the Great Eastern, Titanic wasn't a big breakthrough at all- in fact, theres far, far more difference between the QM and QMII when you think about, although I know they are seperated by about half a century and weren't really first in any category. Warrior had the first bulkheads, The G. Western had the first Atlantic crossing of any iron and screw powered ship and the Teutonic had already confirmed WSL's switch to luxury over speed. But The Imperator, Lucitania/Mauretania, not forgetting Germany's giants had already bridged the gap between 680-800ft (I think Germany made one just over 800 in 1911). By the time Britannic was launched, she was the worlds' 7th largest ship, which, impressive as this sounds, did nothing for the white star line PR wise, not to mention the great war. But anyway, I'm waffling! :D To me, the only true breakthroughs in this era and genre of steam were the Great Eastern and Fulton's steamboat, and maybe HMS Warrior's Iron hull and first bulkheads fits into there, but she was a battleship, so... Hell, even the ones which fought the Opium War were larger than many liners of the late C19th. But, basically what Im getting at is, if any RMS liners made great breakthroughs, it was the RMS Aquitania. Not just because of all her new bits :D, but because she lasted in active service for almost 40 years- thats 11 more than even Olympic! Say has anyone seen the diagram of Titanic, The statue of liberty, a few other things and the Queen Mary 2? QM absolutly dwarfs everything!
Anyway, yes, she was beutiful and will always hold a place in all our hearts. :)

Aye- well, personally I think thats your own opinion- I think she looks rather striking even without the funnels and bridge etc. :) However, I do see where your coming from.

You're right :), the 1997 (or was it 1996) movie "Titanic" made the ship itself even more famous :D! And I totally agree with you, wazzzzzzy, R.M.S. Titanic is a REALLY beautiful ship :D! I still have my Ship Simulator 2006 here somwhere, don't have Ship Simulator 2008 yet :'(, it has arrived here in Sweden, I've seen it in every game store I've been in :)! I'm VERY busy right now, but I hope I can get it soon :).

Aye- the others the will all fade slowly into memory-but Titanic is still very much in material, resting for 100 years more...resting on the seabed.
(P.s-Anyone got any good titanic wreck pics? Im making a vid for youtube on her wreck (Although it causes me physical pain to look at her crippled hull!))

No, apparently she would completely collapse if they tried to move/recover her :(
You can still pay something like $10,000 (USD) to go down and see her, the trip down lasts 2 hours+ and you can stay down there for 20 minutes, you then have to start you ascent to the surface. That's according to the last details I read ::)

I think Titanic should be rebuilt again. Just think how many people would want to stay on Titanic? Millions!
...and yes Titanic was a beautiful ship and her memories will live for a very long time. I only wish she was still afloat today :'( Cruise liners today just don't do it :(

I'll just make a "special" mission with Titanic pointed towards an object far away, so I can always start up at the same point and try to hit the object whenever I can :P
All just so I can get some good sinking pictures :D
But I do wonder if you can actually create holes in the Titanic from hitting something. I thought you couldn't do it with the Sherpa, but then I saw a screen shot and the thing was all bashed in at the front and side. But, that's because it was thrown into the air and fell back to earth :)

If you are talking about the engine order telegraphs, the answer is yes. There are some problems with the
E.O.T.s, but i guess this will be solved in the patch. ;)

Because I was walking around I noticed a little to late that I was on the wrong side of the bouys. To late to correct it so the stern jumped up upon a sandbank. It just rolled over and I could sail further ;)

I think National Geographic Channel runs the same programmes simultaneously in all the Nordic countries. It on here in DK as well. Nothing new though, it's an old repeat.

I just thought I'd ask if any of you have the same bugs as I do on the Titanic after V1.3. Firstly, it goes a lot slower and the waves sounds are gone. Next, you can see a blue line right down the middle and there is a blue circle on the front.
Finally, how do u get the flag on it??

The blue circle in the front is titanic third anchor and the blue line i dont know maybe its where titanic broke apart in half maybe vstep will do something on that so they put it there to remember what to add in the next patch maybe titanic will sink like 1912 you never know ;)

first DONT talk like that because you cant do the mission is no reson to use language like that
second you go round the ice not though it but stay within the green markers if you still in port stay to the white parts of the map or you will run aground
i did not make it on my first go ( ran aground) but if you keep trying you will do it

Crank kinematics is the system of linkage that controls the cyclic pitch angles of the blades.
Here is what it looks like after removal. A size 36 VSP has a blade circle diameter of 3.6 meters; to give you an idea of the size—and why it takes six people to handle it in one piece.

there are no plans to put titanic in extremes. shame realy because i find the other ships rather lame compared to the titanic. in my opinion they should have dropped the ocean star (orient star as its called in extremes) and kept the titanic

This is a standard ramp in SS 08 for launching speed boats during stuntraces. Only in this picture the 'ramp' is placed in an odd position. This would launch the speedboat, in this case the policeboat (if her speed is sufficient), directly on deck of the PoR .
