– now for a senior sim player my boat handling skills with keyboard & mouse were erratic to say the least but with the AV8R, after only a couple hours use, I am quite pleased with myself…

Loading containers!!

Hello there,
I am enjoying Ship Sim 2008, but have found a problem with the first container activity in the missions. I successfully can load on the first, third and fourth containers, but when I try to place the second container, the program doesn't record that I have placed it, even though it is where the arrow points. If I carry on playing, when I clear the last container, it still says that there is one more to move.
Is this a bug in that mission, or am I doing something wrong? Incidentally, I've tried placing the container on either side of where the arrow points, but that doesn't work either.
Any help regarding this would be very much appreciated.
Stuart.
This was always happening to me with the keyboard & mouse but the first time I tried it with the AV8R I cracked it & completed the mission…
For £20 the AV8R has improved my enjoyment of SS08 immensely and until a purpose built Ship Control Unit at a sensible price comes on the market then I will continue using it…
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction
