P.S. My whole troop got yelled at besides be cause they were goofing around. I am always the mature individual.

Lol, but being said, my dad was born in the 50's and doesn't know computers like I do.

Errr... I was born in the early 50's. Wanna go up against me in a quiz?

My old Mum is in her late 80's now. She has her own E-commerce web site and creates her own flash graphics and writes her own java applets. She'd probably beat most people in a "tecchie" quiz.

Don't imagine for a moment that an oldie won't know at least ten times what you do...  ;D

Yeah, but that's not because of his age.

I find that many "young" people (from my viewpoint) are just as unknowing.

Many people are downright ignorant, but it's not an age thing.

Yep, that one has been getting my vote. Also PC Shopper, PC World and PC Plus have all reated it as the best one around. It may be a couple of years old now, but Nvidia haven't released anything better. Price is around £140, Sterling.

I can understand his reasons. If I didn't have the tecchie skills that I do, I wouldn't allow my kids to poke around in a complex piece of equipment which has life-threatening voltages inside and which my kids could easily mess up.

As I do have those skills, I definitely wouldn't let them near it!

Sorry. I am only available as a six-pack in returnable bottles (environmentally friendly) in "super-sized, deluxe".

That's not the reason my dad dislikes it, he says it's a family computer and it's not just fr my games.

Sorry guys, but nothing will change his mind,  understand why he said no.

Since i've alread been given an answer, topic locked
