A vessel i worked on, alongside an aircraft carrier.

That looks very close.

I have this mental image of the vessel pulling away and and accidentally scraping down the side of the carrier, with the captain saying "Sorry, sorry" all the way along it.

I know, it's just my daft brain!

Ahoy Ship(sim)mates,
I've seen a lot of awsome desktops in this thread. And I wonder about one thing. Most of you people do a lot of work to create such beautiful things, and then almost plaster them with a lot of icon's. Why not add the new toolbar 'Desktop' , then click right on an empty space (if you still have one) on your desktop, and uncheck 'display desktop icons'.
You then can always go to your icons by just clicking once on the double >> .
The result? A nice, clean desktop. (see mine)
Regards
Aad
BTW, I added the red arrow and text, in real they don't show up.
Here: http://www.shipsim.com/ShipSimForum/index.php/topic,7108.msg152126.html#msg152126 is another example what I ment to say with my remarks.

You know, I thought those waves looked familiar! Glad none of the transferred "Cargo" escaped. Life around my place would have been smelly for a while (I live close to the water in Selsey - close to Selsey Bill). Just waiting for a load of wood to arrive by sea...

I don't like Icons and since I have a gaming keyboard, I have G keys, so I can have 54 shortcut/hot keys. But I found it annoying to do all of them, So I use the G keys for most things but I added a few Icons on my desktop as folders, to sort things.

Not much, I made it and added some effects.

Got back from Rotterdam about 20 minutes ago.

Thanks for a wonderful evening! Dana and I really enjoyed it.

But, hey. That's no joke. That's my desktop.

It's a 45 minute flight back to London City airport.

And a three hour drive back home, through the rush hour. I'm glad I have a driver!  ;D

Good to meet you, also. See you soon.
