Hello,

due to this heavy fire of discussion, let's hope that something like that, what you can see in the following links, will never happen to the 3D-vessel.

I have placed about 1036 TEU containers on this ship where you got 5 rows some places.

Nice... Still about 6000 TEU to go...  ;)

Over 100000 polygons for the container vessel!  :o OMG

And this doesnt lag up your system?

I am curious how this will perform in a  multiplayer environment?

Hello JHB,
So you are still working on this maersk-vessel??
Will it be in the simulator in some next editions??
This would be nice, however is it not maersk-line that did not wanted to use the company's name on any project.
Help us out.

I have sent Pjotr a PM. Hopefully he will answer it and we will see if it's possible to get her into the game. I cannot decide if she will be in the game or not this since it's VSTEP that will have the last word.

What i heard about Maersk-line,is that they never will allow the name or logo of any maersk vessel.
Thats why i asking.
I hope their can be found a sollution for this,in the future.
I also think that they (vstep),will work first on the firefighting simulator.

Give it a new skin with 'JBH LINE' written on the hull and name the vessel 'Norway'. Yes, Emma Mærsk was the inspiration but nobody can patent an inspiration.

Yeah I have actually been thinking on this to make a fleet of vessels for this game with the JHB or JB special designed logo. So I have been dreaming a little about names like:

"JB Cruises"
"JB Cargo Line"
"JB Ferries"

..and so on. :D

I think the important thing here is that we get this nice model in SS. It's already possible to chance the skins of some of the SS vessels and it may also become possible with this model. Neither the modeller or VSTEP can be held responsible if a user chooses to modify the skin.

Of course we already have a massive containership in the game, but I think there is room for one more.

What I think we will need in the furure are mid-size ships capable of entering the most common ports. They should also be able to play an important role in missions. VSTEP will definitely consider adding relevant vessels.

Agree to you both,
we are in need of some extra vessels, with the eye on the multiplayer-mode.
Otherways,we will see so much of the same vessels,in the game on the same time.
Example, you like your vessel that you've made, and i like it to.So when we choose the same area,to sail in.Most likely i will see the same vessel which you are steering. If we have 5 members, with the same idea.I think you can imagine, the scenery in that spot.
I love the idea,of the JHB-line,because you've made them, create your own logo to put on the vessel. And ready to go.
Offcource we know that Vstep has the last word in this matter, but you can try.
You have my support.
