Greetings,
This vessel discharge his cargo in Rotterdam(maasvlakte),he use tugs,so in that way it's a challenge to get this vessel to his mooringplace.
When we can go out at sea, with this vessel. You would be able to do an entired trip.

Greetings,
This is the whole idea, because there's not realy a "beginner"or"advanced"player. It's by chozing a vessel ,that you're able to make it difficult for yourself.
You can imagine,if you sail the small speedboat, that this is more easyer to moor, than this vessel"Berge Stahl"to get it docked in a proper way.
That why i wanted this huge vessel in the game.

True, but unless we get draught control in the game she cannot go many places in it . . .  Because if her draught is too great, she hits the bottom of harbors pretty early on . . . . I think we need ballast control.

True - she will need it regardless, but she cannot always be fully laiden. I think we need to see if we can find a way to control ballast or alter draft in the Ship Editor . . .

Thoughts?

Hi all,

First of all, i'm new here.  ;D I sail on an inland-ship for a living, so i know a few things here and there. ;)

Offcourse it would be an idea to have Ballast-Controll on the Berge Stahl. However, what about adding scenery to the harbour of Rotterdam, so you will have the complete harbour, including the aproach?
So you can start your mission at Maasmond Aproach (i think it is), and lead the ship to it's destination?

Most importantly, we would need a nice set of tug-boats to get this massive baby in to place!

What a challenge, i'm really looking forward to it!

Oh well, i'm looking forward to everything in SS08!! ;D
