Hi, would you like to have a new anchor handler in the sim, I am the modeller that made the oil rig Eirik Raude, in the game, years ago

The picture on the bottom is from our own simualtor, for training the deck crew, steering the cranes and full pyshics on everything on deck

Very nice model! Let's hope that VSTEP do respond this time since another excellent boat developer tried this for a while ago and did not receive any response on this mail message

Yes I saw that post, that was very nice modells indeed... But my model is ready for SS it has aprox the same polygon count as the rig in the game, they used that so this sould be okay also....

That looks really nice, and if its already in the correct formats, I shouldn't see why Vstep would turn down an excellent opportunity, and I really hope they dont, cause green and brow is for the land not a ship... if you guys know what I mean.

It is our own self developed simulator we use at work... for equipment testing and training...the controllers and handling are the real deal

Not at the moment anyway, we also sell the simulator to the boat that buys the equipment from Triplex AS... It is called Triplex MDH (Multi Deck Handler) and aslo the Triplex shark jaw, (that locks the anchor chain to the boat!

But I guessed this reply. I had also asked for other professional simulators but they are all too much expensive.
Well I hope the future, ship sim will become as good as the pro ones, I assume I'm a real ship handling addict

No problem...but you cant't really manuver the ship in our simulator ..it is mainly a deck simulator

But I can give you a chance to try a bigger simulator in Norway, Aalesund, at Offshore Simulator Centre.

With winds, current, correct waves, and forces, also on the towing part when moving an anchor...or RIG...
