Thanks TJK :)

Great info there too, I didn't know that ;D

Ok, this one is relating to my favourite ship......Titanic ;)

The Port and Starboard propellor setups had a specific name, what was this name?

It's actually easier than you may think, try not to look too deep into the question ;)

Are you refering to the Propeller set ups or the whole engine line?

If set ups then The Port Propeller would be Right Handed Fixed pitch propeller, inward turning.   while the Starboard propeller would have been a Left handed Fixed pitch propeller, inward turning.   Not sure on the set up of the centre (turbine) propeller.   Prob a right handed fixed pitch again though....

Close?   ???

A little too deep there ;)

All I'm actually referring to is, the name of the housing for each of the propellors (Port and Starboard) ;)

Think of a two-word name, and you have it ;D

Carl. If you mean the housing for the propeller shafts outside the hull, they were usually referred to as “shaft wings” because they extended horizontally from the hull.

Give the name, type, and owner of the ship chartered to recover the bodies of the Titanic victims.
Extra points for how many morticians were aboard, and their affiliation.

That’s OK, Dawg. It is fairly far afield, and I’ll pass up my turn.
Given the space devoted to the Titanic, and the enthusiasm shown by some for the sinking of ships, I wondered whether anyone was interested in the ultimate consequences.
It is, after all, a part of Titanic’s history, and should be known to all who claim to be expert in that.

Marty
