Hi Terry :)

I couldn't agree more with you. We definitely need more humour in here!

Time will show if Marmite will outlast the infamous 'Patch time..' thread which also refuses to die, even though there has been no activity in that thread since October. I will not be surprised to see 'Patch time..' return from the dead with Marmite all over it!  ;D

And Marmite returns from its holiday in the Phi Phi Islands.

Now fully refreshed, it has helped to produce a new set of radio sounds and horn sounds, as announced in today's newsletter from Vstep (in which the name of world's most prolific Marmite eater was incorrectly spelled - blame Frad_Med!)

As you can see, dear reader, we are all extremely euphoric on Marmite.

The soon to be released Solent Saturday Service 1 - 4 missions and Solent Summer have hiden Marmite in them. Can you avoid that sticky, brown fate?

Confused? You won't be when you play those missions and listen to the new sounds while eating your Marmite Sandwiches.

It IS nice to be missed...

The newsletter tells me there is to be a new game SS2009 (am I expected to buy a new game every year?)
If I don't buy the new game will I have to eat stale Marmite sandwiches after March next year or will there still be some Marmite produced for my 2008 jar?

Mad Fred! Please do your job properly and stop this sort of off topic conversation creeping in. This is clearly an inappropriate post about Shipsim and has little to do with Mar*ite. :o :P

Morning Marc

Yes, everything is as close to 100% perfect as it will never be, thanks.

I've been away for a while- trapped on a desert island with nothing but sun, sand, sea and some nicely chilled lager... It has been hell  8)

It was. Lots of good looking native Spambot too. Oh, all right- some real dogs and some very strong chilled lager  ;)

So, this island was Canvey, then?  :)

Or Portsmouth?

Well, I knew it wasn't the island I live on (Selsey). We don't have Spambot.

Or is lager we don't have? I never could tell the difference after I'd had a few....  ;D

But we DO have Marmite.

STOP talking about lager!  >:( I've got to drive tomorrow.... mmmm lager and etimram sandwiches.

That is lager in a glass, etimram on bread.... not etimram AND lager on sandwiches... then again...  ;D

Aww, I just went to the kitchen to make a marmite and lager sandwich, but the missus has just finished the last slice of bread (dipped it in Jack Daniels, I think)

That's good grounds for divorce!  >:( "M'lord.... My grounds are that she cruelly ate the last piece of bread thereby preventing me from my ration of etimram".

You should have had a pre-marital agreement "honour, obey and NOT eat the last piece of etimram sandwich!

I've heard about that guinness version... Not to sure I like the sound of it... It's a bit like drawing a moustache on the moaning lisa

You can not improve on perfection... (or at least that's what they said BEFORE I came along)

The way I heard it was that you "didn't improve on perfection". But maybe I misheard it (or had too much lager, Jack Daniels, Guiness and Marmite in my ears. (We're a strange set of people on this island).
