I think Stuart gets the majority of votes because he is the Marmite God.
Right, Stuart?

Yes, ME... *I* am THE god of all that is Marmite. The other bloke- nice as he is- is a false god of marmite.

PS as one or two of you may know, I have a slight background in astrophysics. Stu, would you be prepared to pay for my copy if I get a response from Stephen?

Keeping with the theory of indeterminism, it is- as you well know- impossible to state a clear 'yes' or 'no'- but instead only a range of possibilities each with their likely outcome.

For example, the more that one becomes certain that I am going to buy a copy of SSE, the less one can be certain that I will give it to you.

Paradoxically, the more one can be certain that you will have a copy, the less one can be certain that I will be paying for it.

The ultimate theory of grand unified Marmite? I am a tight fisted sod.

(simpler explanation for the thick people: Imagine a box with a jar of Marmite in it. One inserts a Terry in the box for thirty minutes and then removes. Is the jar of Marmite eaten or not eaten or is it in a range of eaten-ness?)

Thank you WM. And Jack of course. I do greatly respect the Marmiteness of Terry and recognise his ability to eat great quanitites of the stuff.

I also recognise that I am the God of Marmite, and very modest about it, and would be pleased to become PM... On the sole proviso that I can become Home Secretary too and complete my other ambition... of bringing back Capital Punishment...

Yes. Capital punishment. NO MARMITE FOR all who live in London, Edinburgh and cardiff.

That sounds like an election campaign. The fact that you need to campaign, like a low-life politician shows that you are not worthy.

Being the true Supreme Ruler of the Marmite, I am of course an absolute dictator. My very thoughts are inviolable law. This proves that I am the one.

Sorry Stu. But you are henceforth banished to Lagness.

Probably. It may be uncertain for you, since your very existence is currently up for grabs.

An absolute dictator? After 12 years of them, do you think the people of Great Marmite will stand for any more.

Banish me to Lagness? Huh. Such impudence. I would banish you to Bognor Regis. In summer, in the rain. For a week two weeks. WITHOUT Marmite.

That's what happens to people who disrespect the God of Marmite.

Bognor? I rule that as well. I can see it from my house. But despite that, I have not yet smitten it with custard. Maybe later.

Actually, you seem slightly better than appalling at the divine retribution thing. I may have a job for you here at Marmite Central. (Making a list, checking it twice. Then smiting them)

The hours are awful, the pay is lousy, but you get to smite people, which makes up for it. And of course, all the Marmite you can suck.
