You'll need to enter two license keys:
-SS 2006 add-on
-SS 2008

If you don't see the new key for SS 2008 add-on, then unregister both keys and re-register. Then it should give you the new key and a download link.

I don't quite follow you Third Mate... Did you expect to get the add-on for free?! 

It will be possible to purchase the SS2008 add-on from the official Ship Simulator website soon.

Well not free.Im sure that won't be the best way of putting it. It's Just that i did not fully realised that you need it both keys to activate the add-on.But it is good news for me now tha the add-on will be avalible for purchase at the official SS08 web . It's not all that bad, i will still have a chance to experience the rest of the ships that the game has to offer.

To get the addon right now, but you dont have a serial of the 2006 addon. Just buy the download version of the 2006 addon and register the serial in your profile. And have lots of fun!!!!
It worked fine for me this morning.

Not entirely true.

The SS2006 Addon pack exsists as a complete pack, either boxed or as a download.

But the SS2008 Conversion isn't entirely done yet.

There is a PARTIAL download available for those who allready own the SS2006 version. This only has the ships in it. No mission yet, and there are some bugs.

The full SS2008 Addon version will come soon, when the missions are done, the bugs are ironed out and everything is tested.

So then it will be just like the SS2006 version. A boxed or downloadable version. Which has to be paid for, for those who do not own the previous version. And if you do own the 2006 pack, there will be another download link in your profile for the complete product. AFAIK
