As long as it takes, I would say..  ::)

Seriously though. Everyone knows by now that VSTEP is very busy finishing the coming Addon. So my educated guess would be they will focus on the next thing after that's released... And as they allready hinted about the Elbe & Furie, I guess it could be up next.

A date, however, is not known!

Regards,
Fred

Elbe is not a steam tug.

Elbe was built in 1959, Furie in 1916.

Ahoy Ship(sim)mates
Few answers to a few questions:
@ markstrat & Saphire: You asked for screenies? Here they are (more will follow).
I think that the sealords of that container vessel were a bit surprised to see those two tugs and didn't watch out where they where sailing ;D
@ lazano: Yes it's Win XP compatible.

Aad

Love them, especial the Furie. In my younger years, long, long ago, I was a deckhand on a steam tug. Not a seagoing, but hey, a steam tug is a steam tug. And now, when I zoom in at the funnel (see screenie), I almost can smell the lovely aroma off overheated steam, burning coal and hot grease.

Good shot!

I remember when I was a kid, near to where we lived there was a roadbridge over the main London to Portsmouth, Southampton and West Country railway line. There were loads of steam trains going under that bridge. The station (Wlaton-on-Thames) was nearby and had a lot of trains stopping there.

As they pulled away and came under the bridge, we would wait until the smoke hit the bridge and then rush to the other side to see if we could touch the side before the smoke hit that side. We used to go home blackened by the smuts.

The smell of sulphurated coal and steam, and the noise will stay with me. Wonderful smells, wonderful times!

Ahoy Ship(sim)mates,
Prepare yourself for a series of screenies from the Furie and the Elbe.
The Furie likes the sea, she goes trough it like a destroyer on the 3rd pic, though she makes only 9 knots at that moment. Rudder and propellor out of the wet on the 5th pic .
