Seen Class 92 019 "Wanger"
Few Eurostars
Javalins Coupled together with there new sticker on the front
Class 375's Coupling
Class 171

there was ment to be 2 Euro Cargo Rail Class 66's pulling 6 Spanish 37's from Dollands moor - Toton
but because of breaking issues it didnt run:(

But overall a good day!

Anyone know of any other good stations in the south that have a mix of freight and passengers??

Sounds like you had a good day then ;)

hmm... not much freight really down here in the south, you have the Southampton Container Terminals, saw my first Class 70s there

Not been there, but Eastleigh as well could be interesting...

Eastleigh was on my mind... its just a long journey from Harwich to there :-\ it took just over 2 hours to Ashford
my Grandad takes me in the car to Rugby and Ashford On my own the furthest i can go is Peterborough / Stevenage Norwich, and Chelmsford apart from i Dont go Chelmsford at all really because all the trains there can be seen at Manningtree for half the time and quarter of the price

yeah I thought Eastleigh would be a bit far from you

South's pretty boring for freight though - practically all Pax services

Only ever seen one freight working from Dollands Moor (and that was on the same day I saw the 37s), didn't see what was hauling it.

Seen a 66 in Dunkerque though

Ooh good spot just outside the UK - get the ferry *of course* to Calais and there is a nice bridge just by the Tunnel entrance you can see trains enter - good few years back I went there and saw a freight working.

Now all there is, is 1 EWS and GBRf 66 container freight a day and one maybe two GBRf tanks a week
2 old cargowagons what havent moved it years... and i dunno whats to become of are freight trains from harwich now, There was only one container crane there for trains and when i was on the train on tuesday it was on the floor in pecies:/

The ones that come with the HSC route are the EMD F7 and GP7. I'm not sure what the difference is

No, this one is very different.

How many Wheels does it have??

Don't know, but it was the large number of wheels and the long length that they named it the Centipede.

This loco is verrrry different than the GP7. She is similar to the F7 though. Just longer length, more wheels, and bigger windows. On Facebook, they joke about how it's the Deltic of the US. Heres a picture of the locomotive in real life:

Too bad the cockpit in the 390 isn't functional. With the ICE 3 for example, you can operate everything!
